Over the festive period, members of Ballymore’s Project Flourish team put on their Santa hats and delivered some very special Christmas presents to children from The Dalgarno Trust and St Thomas' Church of England Primary School.

In celebration of Black History Month, we were thrilled to attend a very special ballet performance by Classically British & Co at Sadler's Wells Theatre in Islington, and to sponsor all the costs to produce the event’s programme.

We’re delighted to unveil our Kensal Canalside Homes and Neighbourhood brochure, which outlines our plans and aspirations to create an inclusive and fully accessible new neighbourhood at Ladbroke Grove.

Since 2021, we’ve been proud supporters of The Dalgarno Trust, which offers a variety of free activities and services to members of the local community. We recently worked with the Trust to give local youngsters some special days out over the summer.

Younger, non-homeowners are the most likely to support new developments in their area but the least likely to engage in traditional consultation methods, research has revealed. Ballymore has therefore partnered with Just Build Homes to engage these residents in the local and surrounding areas to ensure their views are heard.

Creating a vibrant new neighbourhood and inclusive community where people feel happy to live, work and play is at the heart of our exciting plans for Project Flourish.

Earlier this year, we worked with transport and highways experts Steer to create a suite of short videos explaining our transport strategy for Project Flourish. If you haven’t seen them yet, you can still view the videos here.

A big part of what will make Project Flourish a success is its exciting retail offer. We’re determined to create a vibrant new high-street that everyone can enjoy, in the same vein as Regent Street and Exhibition Road.

Project Flourish will include a brand new Sainsbury’s store. However, only when the proposed store has been fully constructed will the existing Ladbroke Grove store close, ensuring members of the local community always have access to their local Sainsbury’s.

We’re pleased to release the first edition of the Project Flourish Newsletter, which brings together the latest information on the planning aspects of the development, as well as updates on our continued work with local charities and organisations. 

On Wednesday 8 May 2024, Ballymore hosted the monthly Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Chamber of Commerce networking event at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. This was a fantastic opportunity for the Project Flourish team to come together with local businesses to discuss their lines of work and what they do in the local community.

We’re delighted to let you know that we are extending our one-to-one meetings on Tuesdays indefinitely. We are also holding site tours for anyone who would like to attend and view the site.
