Ballymore in tune with local businesses at Royal Opera House event

On Wednesday 8 May 2024, Ballymore hosted the monthly Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Chamber of Commerce networking event at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

This was a fantastic opportunity for the Project Flourish team to come together with local businesses to discuss their work and celebrate the contributions they make to the local community.

The event was well-attended, and we thoroughly enjoyed speaking to local business owners about their companies and the services they provide. This was also a great chance for us to better understand how we might be able to contribute to the continued success of this important part of the local community.

Michael Hughes, Project Director at Ballymore, said:

We had a fantastic evening with businesses from the Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Chamber of Commerce. This event has helped us connect with business owners based close to Project Flourish and allowed us the opportunity to discuss ways we can help to secure their continued success. This was also a great chance to make them fully aware of our plans for Kensal Canalside.

The proposed development will deliver a number of significant economic benefits for the local area, including job and workspace creation, and we’re keen to work alongside the many vibrant companies based here as the project progresses.

I’d like to thank everyone who attended and would encourage anyone with an interest in our proposals to contact us if they would like to attend a one-to-one meeting and tour of the proposed site.

Jason Window, Chairman of the Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Chamber of Commerce, said:

We extend our gratitude to Ballymore, our esteemed partners, for graciously hosting The Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Chamber of Commerce May monthly networking event at the enchanting Piazza Terrace of the Royal Opera House.

The spring weather enhanced the charm of the venue, setting the scene for an unforgettable gathering. Against this backdrop, our guests mingled and connected, creating the perfect atmosphere for networking. It was great to learn more about 'Project Flourish' and its promising prospects for the communities and businesses within our borough.

We look forward to continuing to work with local businesses as our proposals for Project Flourish progress.
